February 25, 1999
Mity-Lite Inc. Thursday announced that the company has been named a preferred supplier of folding leg tables and stacking chairs for Promus Hotels.
The agreement allows Mity-Lite to sell to all Promus Hotel Corp. owned and franchised properties under a preferred supplier status. In addition, being a preferred supplier is significant for Mity-Lite since the status allows Mity-Lite to attend the Promus Hotels preferred vendor trade show in May 1999.
Promus Hotel Corp. is one of the top hotel companies in the world. Promus properties include more than 2,000 hotels located nationally and internationally, which are owned and managed under the Hampton Inns, Hampton Inns & Suites, Doubletree Hotels, Doubletree Guest Suites, Club Hotels by Doubletree, Homewood Suites, Red Lion, Embassy Suites, Embassy Vacation, Embassy Resorts and Harrison Conference Centers tradenames.
"We are excited to be a preferred supplier for The Promus Hotel Corp. and look forward to a long relationship with them,'' said Gregory L. Wilson, president and chief executive officer of Mity-Lite. ``The Promus Hotels will provide us with more showcases as we continue to add to our customer base in the hospitality market."
